    Fawn

    Here's a shot from this past sunday. I was shooting some birds when I turned around to see this little one across the stream from me.

    Great image!! I have been trying to get a shot like this all spring but haven't had any luck. Perhaps this weekend.

    Mike, great sharpness and clarity! That head position - you can't get a more dead-on symmetrical angle than that.

    Thanks All,
    I think this was just one of those in the right place at the right time kind of photos. I think this fawn saw me but didn't know what it was looking at. I staid as still as I could when it was looking at me and took a few steps in its direction when it looked away. It finally moved into a thick bush so I thought that was a good time for me to move off without really giving it a scare.
