Entomological identification anyone?

Found a couple of these recently in the garden, and one in the house, seems they are on the move towards pupation sites?

Anyhow, identification would be appreciated - remember they're in the UK !

I thought either Noctuidae or Satyridae - but it doesn't match the few in my books.
