    An Embassador for this Park

Earlier in the day (before the rain shower), my son and I were at a different park (my "harrier fields") and we quickly came across this fellow which I am certain is the very same Red-Shouldered hawk that I photographed yesterday.

When he landed on this kiosk, I knew I had to get the shot. After moving to get the alignment right, I was only able to get off 4 shots with only 1 keeper (the third image here). The other one is slightly soft.

    All three with the 300mm + 2x. 1st image full frame, 2nd & 3rd cropped slightly. All three at 1/250s, f/11, ISO 400.

One can never foresee what the day will bring until we do it.
