    Earwig

I'm not too squeamish, but these things have creeped me out a little since I saw that Star Trek movie where the bad guys dropped the bad-a$$ outer space version of these things into prisoners ears. Did you all see that?

Yeah, I know the scene of which you speak. I never did know how Chekov recovered from his ordeal

    Nice gross image!

Ya know, with a little hot sauce these are yummy

    OK really....

These things are a bit ugly and they pinch alot with that butt pincher of theirs, but the image is good.

    Re: Earwig

That doesn't look like our European earwig.
It looks more like a rove beetle.
So those pincers might bite :cryin:

they pinch alot with that butt pincher of theirs
Old wives' tale for the earwig.
Their pincers are used to fold the wings and arrange the wing cases.
They're wonderful mothers, unlike some insects, taking care of their young not abandoning them.

Nice image, but I hate those things. I always get them in my bird feeders.
