    Eagle..what a head turn!

Definitely checking me out. Mom and Eaglet were down low in the nest so pops gave me some poses!

    whoa...
You really should name that Eagle "Reagen" (sp?) from The Exorcist.
Walk softly and carry a big lens.

I a friend of my posted this info from another post........

Birds have between 13 and 25 neck bones...(almost all mammals have only 7).

There are twice as many bones in the neck of a Hummingbird or an Eagle than there are in the neck of a Giraffe or a Whale or a Mouse.

Whales' neck bones are all fused together and Giraffes' are really long (but still only 7).

Cool trick to pull on a Whale is to sneak up behind one-tap it on the shoulder and since it takes forever to turn and look (can't turn its head), you can easily hide somewhere...they never figure this one out.

That Eagle's extreme head turn is easier than it looks.
