Here a some pic's from an Eagle nest near my house. Nest was blown down last December and had to be rebuilt, so the Eaglets are late this year. i did see them through the branches for a moment (see first pic ,...Mama looking down at the Eaglet....look close in between the branches).

Actually quite common here in my area. Most of the time when I have spotted Eagles hunting by this nest they always snatch a duck from the Lake next door or a fish. Last week my friend captured a shot of the Eagle with a Tri- Colored Heron! These two Eagles are great hunters. I have seen them return to the nest with (3) victims within a 30 minute time span! What a sight

Very cool that they adapt to their environment. The nesting eagle in my area return with carp , but a green heron did come back once too. The nest now has a camera on it, so I will have to ask my friend about prey items as the eggs hatch and the eaglets grow.
