    Eagle?

I haven't really been able to go any where to take pictures since I have no car now so I'm pretty much confined to my yard, which gives me a lot of robins, some bugs and black buzzards which occasionally land on the roof tops or yard. But I happened to glance up the other day and saw what I thought was an eagle, which I dont usually see to many of those around here..

I cropped in close trying to get a better look. He was WAY up there. So really I'm just trying to get confirmation.

Well, I know of no other raptor that has a white head and tail (at maturity) than the Bald Eagle so I would say yes.

Definitely a Baldy. Just tie the neigbors cat out in your back yard, and he'll come in closer (geez, I can't believe I said that out loud!) - LOL

Amber, definitely a bald eagle. The only (that I know of with a white head). Good shot. Hope you get some more to share.

    Re: Eagle?

The only reason I asked was to confirm because I mentioned it to my dad and he said (without looking at the picture mind you) that perhaps it was an osprey (lots of those around here. I told him I didnt think so, but maybe.

    Haha Bob!!!
