    Re: The Driveway

Those are some awesomely gorgeous trees there. I've always wanted to visit the northeastern states in autumn.

Some trees in Ohio have already started to turn color - odd that the trees there don't show any signs yet?

    Re: The Driveway

A few do show some color here Loupey, but most have not started turning yet. Its still warm yet. My daughters were playing in the lake earlier.
Even down in Virginia, trees have not really started turning yet.
Here is another that shows the trees around the lake...

New Hampshire is nice. My family is from this area and my inlaws moved up here about ... two years ago perhaps now... I think you'd like it up here

    Re: The Driveway

Amber, that first image is fantastic IMHO!! I'd be putting that up on my wall!!

We are a bit further north (about 51 degrees N. latitude) and most of the poplars have turned yellow and are dropping their leaves. In another month, or less, they will all be bare and we have to wait until next March/April for them to return.

    Cheers,

I really like the first shot too! I go to New Hampshire every year for vacation. Dalton/Whitefield NH to be exact. I love it up there.

I know some trees around here in central CT are changing, they have been since august, soo weird.

Ive been to NH twice in the fall. once was past peak. everything was dark red or brown and most of the leaves were on the ground. the other time was at peak. only there for 3 days but it was beautiful. chilly too at night so dress warm

That second shot is quite shocking. On my drive home from the office I was looking at the downtown skyline with the foreground trees of changing colors - never would guess that your image and what I'm seeing is at the same time.

    Crazy climate

    Re: The Driveway

Dont forget too tho that most of the trees here are pines and wont change colors. Most of this state does stay green with the changing seasons.

Is that Henry Fonda and Katherine Hepburn in that boat?

    Very nice shots BTW.

    Thanks guys

As we were driving from NH to Boston, it was amazing how all the trees in Mass have changed colors, but not in NH and def not here in VA!!
