    Dried Up

    Just thought I'd post the condition my favourite slough is in these days. Much as I hate snow I'm hoping for a heavy snowfall this year to replenish these wetlands.

    That doesn't look good. We're not in very good shape around here either. I've never seen our rivers so low. However, I'm happry to report, it's raining right now, for the first time in quite awhile. I hope you get your much needed moisture, regardless what form it takes.

    That sight looks all too familiar I'm afraid.

    My wetlands now have grass growing from what was once the bottom of the pond.
