    DragonFace

I caught this guy in the garden in front of my house. He was kind enough to pose long enough for me to get the macro lens out.

While not near as nice as Wyatt's mantis, it was my 1st REAL close up of a dragon.

Now that baseball season is winding down, I can get back to the lens more.

    Cheers,

    Randy.

Wow that's a high level macro. Nice details & lovely coloration.

Amazing that you were able to get this close (a few inches I imagine?).

    What's a Loupe for anyway?

    Thanks Loupey,

Yep, I was about 4 inches from his schnozz with the 50mm macro.

I went out to some wetlands yesterday, and wasn't able to get anywhere near as close.

    Cheers,

    Randy.

Great macro image, you can see the pattern in it's eyes.
