    Decay

You gardeners will instantly recognize this flower (the name escapes me at the moment). Trying to show all the stages of bloom - from emergence to bloom to whithering decay - all within one 3" section of stalk outdoors in the wind was near impossible.

So I tried my attempt at "studio" shooting in my kitchen. The black background is my son's dirty black shirt that I'm holding in the shadow of the dining room waiting for the timer to trip the shutter. Hope it came out OK.
