    A Damsel and a Dragon

Since spring I've been trying to find a damselfly perched on the end of a dragonfly's abdomen. I haven't seen it but a few have come close.

This is as close to it as I have gotten. They are all rejects as I couldn't get low enough nor enough DOF as it was breezy (hence the "windsock" posturing) and I had to crank up the shutter speed. Since I couldn't get everyone in focus, I figured I'd go close and at least get the dragonfly in focus. The last one I thought looked artsy as they both took off at the same time.

The last two with a 36mm tube (I think - I change tubes so often/quickly that I can't always remember what combo I ended up with) on my 300mm and lying on my side in wet grass.
