    Curious Wildlife

This character greets me most mornings when going out to fill the feeders. He just wishes I wouldn't use so much safflower seed! I keep telling him that's why there are corn cobs.

Nice pic. drg. You can just "see" him asking that very question. ;) Wonderful framing with the branches. Very shallow DOF since it seems his tail is even OOF a little. What setup did you use for this shot? A definite keeper for the wall, I think.

Squirrels always seem to make nice subjects. They always seem to have some interesting expression. This one certainly does look like he is expecting some food!

The only thing I think I would change would be if that OOF leaf or whatever it is wasn’t in front of his paw on the right.

Great catch! But you might want to remind him that curiousity killed the cat!

    Re: Curious Wildlife

This photo was taken with Fuji 200 speed film with a Canon EOS 1v and probably a 70-200 F2.8 handheld with IS. The roll has a lot of different shots on it and I know early on I was changing lens. I remember taking the shot and I wrote down the date and everything, but didn't make my customary note. Since the DOF looks suspiciously like that lens at 150mm+ at F4 or less that's what I'm going with!! It was the last lens noted in the photo diary for that roll so . .

Thanks for all the comments. I may have to become the 'squirrely' photographer for this forum. ;)
