    Crash Course

Another type of in-flight bird photography

We have a large window which gets hits on an almost daily occurance despite the efforts by my kids who put static stickers to serve as warnings to these guys.

So far, none have been fatal (to my knowledge).

    Any idea who left this?

Not sure what bird was attached to these feathers, but if you didnt know it, looks like they are floating in the wind.

We have a window in the kitchen that seems to attract pidgeons for some reason, they leave a whole body and wing imprint in dust on the pane, same here no fatalaties as known just a few birds with big headaches!

If Paulnj can ID those feathers.... I'll really be impressed!

My guess is a robin. If my memory serves me right, they are kind of notorious for crashing into windows.

Well since Size is unknown my thought is downy woodpecker due to white breast feathers and black flight feathers
