Coyote is still around

While at the Eagle nest a few weeks back and then again last week the Coyote appeared rather close to me. Even stopping for a little nap

Coming out of the woods in the shade...looks like he is loosing his Winter coat.

Nice candid shots. They either don't notice you or don't care you are there.
Coyote's are one of my favorite wildlife subjects to shoot.
They are so fun to watch in the field when they are hunting for field mice.

It would be very rare to get these kind of shots in my neck of the woods, they are just too wary from being pursued by hunters all the time. Nice captures, especially #2.
