    Coyote Series, PP help.

    Hello All,
One of my favorite wildlife subjects is Coyote’s in there natural habitat.
These guys don’t usually let you get very close and they are most active in late afternoon.
So shooting conditions are never ideal.
On this series I was trying a High ISO, High shutter speed, manual WB shooting at a gray card.
It really didn’t work out very well. I'm such a rookie at this, haha

I was wondering if anyone could offer any PP tips I might try to improve these. I know they will never be perfect.

Here’s one that worked out pretty good. Different animal different time.

Thanks for looking and please feel free to offer any suggestions on PP tips.

Ya! That last one looks good to me. Only things I can think of are getting a bigger lens, or, if you have a lot of time on your hands... build somekind of blind there and wait. Maybe even just make like a straw mat you could lay under or get a big box and spray paint it camo.
Walk softly and carry a big lens.

I like the first one. I think how the cammoflage is working with the environment makes the story.

Nice shots, coyotes are very shy I think the suggestion of a blind of some sort is your best option. Great job on these.

Thanks everyone for your comments and ideas.
I'm going to try the blind idea.
SARtech, Can't really afford a new big lens right now. Had to replace my camera body. The light meter went bad. :-(
