    Coyote in my area.......

You never know what you will find in your local park. Spotted this Coyote or rather he spotted me as he came out of the woods. Then he laid to sun himself.
I got pretty close before I spooked him, ....what rush!!!

Super cloudy today but all worked out ok

Going back for more tomorrow.....I suspect he is here for the winter,

Eric, great shots. Local park eh? Seems these things can get used to people just about anywhere and our locations are separated by over 2500 miles, east-west and north-south. Local wildlife officials estimate that there are over 500 of these living in around my northern city. Don't see them too often - they spook very easily, but locals have lost small dogs and cats to them and they have been in our back courtyard in the winter because I have seen the tracks in the snow.

    Cheers,

How cool is that. A coyote that doesn't run at mac 1 when it sees you.
