The first one there...I feel like I can never get it sharp enough. I've tried a bunch of times, but haven't had as much success as I would like with it.

I think they look awesome! The second one with the bee.. the color is so bright! Its beautiful (of course.. yellow is my favorite color lol) It reminds me of a picture you would see on a box for photo editing software

Keep bending/stooping to shoot these kind of photos and that kid is going to fall out!

Lol Loupey! Sorry about the abundance of color for you...I'll try to tone it down on my next post...hehe. And as far as bending and stooping doing the trick, the only thing this photo trip got me was a big ugly tick. Blech!

Amber...yes, I'm preggo! I have two girls, 4 & 2...and this one is a boy (or so they tell me...lol). I'm actually due August 9th, but I have an induction scheduled for Thursday...and I'm REALLY hoping to go before then...heh. We'll see though! Maybe the full moon will do it...haha.

Well congratulations to you! My daughters are 4 and 14 months. We may try again. Hubby wants a boy, but then.. hes afraid he'll end up with three girls like my dad lol. Whey did they decide to induce? I hope you can get him out before then

Lol Paul! I'll keep that in mind...hehe.
Amber...tell you hubby it will be fine...if you get another girl, you can always try again for a boy...teehee. My hubby and I will likely have at least one more (although I always say let me get through the first year with THIS one first...lol), as we both come from big families, etc, etc. I know, we're crazy...LOL. The doctors wanted to induce at 39 weeks because I tend to have very precipitous deliveries, and they're hoping I'll actually be AT the hospital already when I'm in labor...lol. With my younger daughter, my doctor actually didn't even make it there to deliver her...so, we'll see what happens this time.
Loupey, how cool that your bday is August 3rd! At this point, any day I go between now and then, I'll hit someone's bday though...with all the people in our combined fams. And no, I'm probably not your sister-in-law...hahaha!

Emily I think it's great your still out there snapping away and getting such beautiful results. My daughter-in-law is due one month form your due date. We can't wait, we have our plane reservation are ready to fly to Texas to is that new little guy. These last few days can be real misery just form a waiting stand point. It's funny we have four children and like you my wife delivered quickly all but the last one and we sat at the hospital for what seemed like eternity waiting on her to get ready and come on into the world. I think she may have spotted my flash and was just camera shy. We're thinking about you and wishing you the best, hope to see pictures soon. Have you got hubby all trained in the camera use so we can get some of the two of you?

That's right...you're waiting on a couple of new grandkids, aren't you?? How exciting...I'm sure you can't wait!
I took some pics today too...while my girls were playing in the kiddie pool outside...I can sit down and do that...lol. It's been SO hard to be so limited as far as just going out and taking pictures. Part of it has been the hideous heat though...thank goodness we're almost done.
I'll be giving my husband a crash course, I think...hehe! He does pretty well with the camera though, so it should be okay.

Thanks Speed! I'm hoping to get a couple more tries with that particular type of flower (no clue what it is...heh)...and I'm going to try a couple different angles and such to see how it goes.
