    A couple birdies

    Have had photographer's block since the weather turned in November. Well, actually just spending more time with my dogs and the days are too short.

    Figured I'd break the ice by shooting some birdies in the snow.

    Sparrow-over-Snow

    Cara & Eric - thanks for the comments!

    Cara, yeah I really wanted that Towhee shot since I don't have too many images of them. So after find the male/female pair, I stood in the the snow for 4~5 hours over two days to get that one shot - the very last image - before a very nice couple walked up and we struck up a very friendly birding discussion for over an hour.
