    Cormorant or Shag ?

    I think it's a juvenile cormorant, I can't see the shaggy head and it might be developing the light cheek patches of the adult cormorant.
    Yes - terrible lighting, and too short a lens - I know.

    It's cool the way the light is coming thru the wings. You've got to train these birds to come a little closer.

    I always thought a cormorant and a shag were the same animal with a different name, but either way it's one of them
