    Cooper's Hawk nest update :)

Only a few pics, I'm still post processing the rest.

Two weeks ago it was clear the hawks were off eggs, but I couldn't catch sight of any chicks at that point. One parent was always hunting while the other guarded the nest. It usually was the female at the nest.

Last week I spotted some downy heads and got a few bad shots. I clearly saw two.

This week I got there on Saturday and could see Momma feeding the chicks!

    Heavy crop:

They were moving around more and I saw three chicks total. Nice healthy brood I don't know how long before they fledge. They're still downy on the heads but their backs and wing are losing the down and turning brown.

More shots when I finish going through them.
