    Comings and Goings of a Swift

    After shooting this pair over the pond, I found it easier to shoot them when they return to their nest. I'm getting lazy.

    Nice images Loupey. These are they types of shots I have been trying to get with some bluebirds I have been watching. I have a few, but not the ONE that I want, yet.

    really nice shots. i have been trying to get them to stay in one palce long enougfh to get a shot like that forever.

    you know what i mean about the way they move in flight.

    Terry, yeah they move not so predictably?! I'm still working on open air shots myself. Thought I'd cheat a little here

    Knight, thanks as aways for your words of encouragement! You know, this bird shooting is quite addictive.

    Michael, I know what you mean about the ONE. I didn't get exactly what I was looking for yesterday - DOF off a little, wing position not quite right, shutter too slow, shadow too harsh, ... Definitely a subject for me to go back and reshoot. A few more from yesterday to add to the series:
