    Are the colors right?

I nearly had a "Where'd the birds go?" moment last Friday. I was watching one side looking for target and this fellow was flying up and down closeby and behind me. Glad I turned around and so I rushed a shot off before it flew too far away. I have a question though: do the colors of the bird look right to you?

I didn't crop anything out or clone anything out. That patch of yellow, greenish shadow is the grass in front of me.

It looks like a dust storm heading your way. Without having anything to compare the hawk to, it's a tough question to answer. If I was to guess, I'd say yes.

Nice shot of a marsh hawk!!
The colors look good to me if its a female. Adult males are a light gray color with white under parts, and some reddish spotting. They also have black wing tips. Adult females are brown with some brownish streaks on the under parts.
    Good job!!

Tough to say because there is one really OOF grass in front of the left wing and tail which is making it look a little too yellow/green. But the right wing looks right.

Nice catch! I love those birds!
