The Chicks have flown the nest!

Yippee! today Chippys chicks have flown their nest, i think there are 4, but i can only see one, this one i have posted. The others are making lots of noises but are'nt so brave. Chippy is being a very good dad, taking food from me and giving it to his fledgling, looks at me as if to say "have you taken it yet? if so can i move!" its been a lovely day.

Great photos Bev! I came on to post an adorable goldfinch baby, but it doesn't compare to yours, although he's pretty cute. It'll be up in a minute.

    What a good daddy bird!

Thanks everyone im glad you liked the pics its so nice to be able to share such wonders with others. Day 2 today and babies doing fine, although some sad news there were 3 chicks next door but their dog got one, very sad, poor mite. But i have noticed i have 2 in my garden this afternoon, for something so small they sure can move fast!!
