    Catching Up to Sports

Hey, guys. I know this sounds childish but I see that we are catching up to those sports guys. The ratio in posts between the Sport and Wildlife people used to be more that 2:1. Keep it up

Not that there is anything "wrong" with sports. It's just that there is more nature than sports in the world

Probably helps that JSPhoto has been quiet as of late.

i don't know what you're talkin about. There are way more sports than nature in this world. What do you see when you look out your window? that's right, baseball.

You know Loupey some of us are sports and nature guys. I'd like to see both forum have loads of post everyday. I'm afraid I'm in a sports dead zone right now with our local schools out for the summer, but football is just around the corner
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Let those who like shooting sports start shooting wildlife and vice versa. My theory is shoot what you love or that inspires you. I have shot a few sports images in the past, but I find wildlife to be more attractive to me.

I too would love to see both forums bogged down with posts!

Let me advise those who don't know, but there are over 30 million birders in the US and europe/asia has a huge amount too ;) Eco tourism is a very big industry these days!

I know that sports fans have to be in the 100's of millions atleast though

LOL, a friendly elbow-in-the-side to our sports shooters. Yeah, Livin and OT, I know, I've seen both your works and you both are hard workin' photogs.

But aren't they the ones with dem big guns? Love to see some wildlife shots through those.

Loupey.....I've pretty much given myself over to shooting baseball for the past 2 years, but since the end of last season have attempted to branch out in other areas. I'm still pretty weak, as you've seen in Critique, but my wife loves hearing me say "Let's go for a ride in the country" .

    Re: Catching Up to Sports

Well it happened. At 9:54pm EST, we caught up to sports!!! Now what kind of dork am I?!? (please don't actually answer that Paulnj)

Nothing competitive by it - having a little fun. Just happy to see so many people passionate about their photographic endeavours.

Thanks all for posting, sharing, teaching, and (hopefully) learning

    Re: Catching Up to Sports

Well for me it leans out in Winter as motorsport winds down and they go back to the wind tunnel and factory to work on the cars - and testing moves to places like Dubai.

Still, there's plenty of nature out there if I don't freeze trying to get the shot !
