    Caspian Terns

Had a large ternery at a back drainage pond at the south edge of the prairie at the botanic gardens. I don't believe it's under the gardens' control, judging by how poor condition it always is in and the trash build up. But the birds seem to like it better than the main lagoons, guess cause of the shallows and the fact it's tucked away from people.

The terns hung out there for about three weeks. Last week it was empty, this week another few terns were there resting.
