Carrion - Warning - Graphic Images

I spent some time sitting in my blind this evening watching what was left of these deer. I was hoping for a scavenger to come along for an easy meal. There was a bald eagle there when I arrived, but it took off and didn't come back. Hoping to try again tomorrow.

Interesting pics! Looks like you had some golden light, either sunset or sunrise.
I wonder how he ended up in the water?

This was evening light. These deer were dumped here. There are 4 in this same spot. Not sure if a coyote drug the one onto the ice or if that is where it was dumped...

Spent 3 hours sitting and waiting again tonight, but didn't have any takers. I did have a bald eagle fly over but it kept on going. I don't think it helped at all that there were 2 other people on the pond ice fishing... oh well.
