    I love cardinals. What a treat this was. It looks like he is just a little front-focused, but the colors are striking -- what is the patio made of? I love your feeding station idea. Do you shoot through a glass door?

    Yes, Paula, I shoot through the glass door. This is an incentive to keep the glass clean, LOL! Those are stained stepping stones in the background. Thanks so much for your comment. I'm still working on the bird feeding station and plan to add one more feeding "spot" today where I can feed loose chipped sunflower seeds and ground peanuts. I use food which doesn't leave a mess on the patio ;-) .
