    Canyonlands National Park, Utah

    Hi All,
It's been awhile since I've posted anything.
Just got back from an 8 day 7 night, 102 mile, kayak trip on the
Green River through Canyonlands National Park in Utah.
Saw a few birds, a few lizards, a few Indian Ruins and lots of big red rocks…
Do to limited space I only took an 18-135mm lens with Cir Pol filter.

    Hope you enjoy them.

    Hi Dylan,
I believe I did camp at the base of Jasper Canyon, photos6, 7, 8,& 9 were taken there.
I started at Ruby Ranch and ended just below the confluence of the Green and Colorado River at Spanish Bottom.
On the 8th morning I caught a 4 hour Jetboat ride back to Moab via the Colorado River. Took ~600 pictures my fingers hurt from all the post processing.

I was hoping you would check my photos out.
Could you help me with the ID on the Lizards?

Sounds and looks like a fantastic experience!

Although the scenery is spectacular, I like the very last shot the best.

Thanks for looking and posting Loupey. It was an awesome trip. Floating and shooting the Green River was at the top of my bucket list. I only wish I could have taken more camera equipment.
Extension tubes and the 300mm would have been used alot.

The lizard on the jacket was a neat spur of the moment shot.
I had about a dozen of these little guys cleaning up the ants and small spiders around my camp. I'll bet I took over 30 shots trying to get one snatching up an ant however i was
just not fast enough. I wish I'd of thought about burst mode Mike uses.

    Hi Frog,
I believe they are Anasazi granaries where they would store their threshed grain or animal feed.

You should give it a try. Moab has several outfitters than can supply you with all required at a very reasonable rate. I paid $160 for a shuttle to Ruby Ranch

and a 4 hour jetboat ride up the Colorado River back to my car in Moab 8 days later. It was painless.

Nice shot. I didn't get to see it from that angle. In some places I could see the White Rim Road and thought that might be a fun back road trip someday.

This looks like a great trip! I was really hoping to get out west again this fall with my kayak but I don't think it's going to happen. I will have to live vicariously through your images.
