    Camouflage

A killdeer has decided to make a nest in the landscaping rocks between a sidewalk and a parking lot at work.

We had one of those lay some eggs in the gravel trap outside turn 15 at Barber Motorsports Park a few years ago. It was a challenge to go pick up bikes without disturbing the nest, to say the least!

\I'm not sure now if the nest was successful or not. If a car went off in that turn I'm sure it wasn't, but bikes rarely went out into that gravel.

I stopped by to try to get some more photos yesterday and the nest was empty. I hope they hatched.
