    Not because his antlers were all busted up, but rather because he was so close that all I got was a bust shot of him, rather than his full body. We use the term as a sort of slang saying for a very close photo.

    Now here's a bust shot of an antelope whose horns are all busted up.

    I like getting in close and taking photos. But when you are real close you usually only get one photo before they spook.

    Here's a bull buffalo I snuck upon as he lay just after a light rain storm. Notice the water droplets on is hide. I too like close ups.
