    Bucks-Tahoe NF

    I shot these the other day. You can tell they have been rutting the last two months from there battle wounds. I was lucky to get these. The only reason I did is because the two bucks were chasing around a pack of 7 Does (all looked frightened to death from these guys). Very rarely am I able to get close enough to these guys in daylight to get any decent pictures. I suppose on this day there minds were more focused on keeping there species alive, rather than me in a tree taking pictures of them.
    I shot these hand held with a Tamron 18-270mm at full zoom. All the exif should be there.

    Nice captures...looks like the poor guy has had a rough time!

    Thanks Eric. It does look like he has had a rugh time. Ater watching him chase off every buck that came within a couple hundred yards of his doe's, I quickly realized why he was so beat up.
