    Bluebird

Believe it or not, I've never actually seen one of these before outside of other people's photos. Not great shots, couldn't get close without spooking him, but being my first, figured I'd share

    Congrats on your first!

Aren't they beautiful? Especially the male in flight in spring - the blue is simply electric.

Congratulations Cara! It's a great feeling to see something new, and even better if you can share it with others in a photo!

glad to here you got to witness the beauty of the eastern bluebird with your own eyes. I would venture to say it is on territory, so should be there awhile more.

Unless it's raining (note to self check weather) I'll probably be going there on lunch again tomorrow. I'll have to look and see if he's around again

WOW great shots, they are so cool I love the color of them. I have not seen anymore here. I even set up a bluebird feeding station between two houses, but nothing yet
