    Birds of prey.

These are from my first day out of town with my new camera. I realize the eagle shot isn't very sharp, but give me a break. This was my first shot at a flying bird. I was just happy with the capture. On the way back to town I drove the gravel roads and found this short eared owl on the fence post. I stayed in my car and every time I clucked, he'd look my way and I'd take another shot.

Thanks guys, I do appreciate the comments. Feedback is always welcome, positive or negative. However, it does amaze me, with over 34,000 members, this forum sure isn't very active with replies. Although, I do have to admit, I have spent countless hours on this site since I found it a couple days ago. The few active participants do make it rock.

It's honestly the time of year. Vacations are i full swing as are those pesky kids running parents ragid This forum has less active people frequenting it than most, but they are the best ones in my opinion

    Re: Birds of prey.

I left a comment or so in the Gallery re: The Owl. Sigh, they never sit still for me. Good catch! The eagle took a bit of skill as well as luck!

    Thanks for sharing these.

You'll find a lot of very interested as well as interesting photographers here at PR! I participate occaisionally in this forum as I don't have a lot of time for Nature shooting. I'm working on that between projects this summer! Those that are dedicated are what makes this a great place to hang out.

By the way, that's a good Bear shot in the Gallery! You should link it to this forum. Haven't seen to many Bears posted here!

Very nice capture on the eagle, I've never managed to get one that nicely.
