    Birding in Treasure Island

Went birding again today. Here's a few Gulls and Pelicans I got today and a few smaller birds that I need an ID on.

I'm not sure what type of bird #1 is.. I think it is a tern of some sort.

    Re: Birding in Treasure Island

Thanks Copy. Here's a few more of the Pelicans after I finished the post on them too. They were in a feeding frenzy so I got a lot of dive shots.

The last shot is the one I am most proud of for the day. Full frame and barely any post required. I did a slight levels adjustment and a slight saturation adjustment and the rest is as shot.

Jaedon these are brilliant and i agree the last one is superb! wow, your sky colouring there is wonderful.
I hope you dont mind but i know you said you did a bit of post processing, but i used Shadow/highlight on it rather than levels, and brought out the wing colouring a little more, please feel free to tell me off if you didnt want your image altered.

    Excellent job, Jaedon!

Love the colors and blue sky (jealous).

I really like the gull and (ultralight/hang glider?). Great composition and timing on that one!

    Thanks for sharing.

    Re: Birding in Treasure Island

That is actually a kite Loupey. It was an accident it got into that frame but when I saw it I left it. I have a few shots of the kites that were flying that day. The guy that was flying them hand made them all. They were also all american flags. Now that's the way to fly the flag =)

Thanks for the compliments gyuys. I really do owe a lot to you guys for the inspiration you have given me with your work and encouraging me to do better.

Blue sky is such an awesome backdrop for sure. Too bad I am heading home tomorrow. 2 weeks just wasn't enough....but I am sure that 3 would've been too long.....cause in 3 weeks I would've bought a new home and found a new job lo.

Thanks Bev. I cant really see the image correctly here as I am only using my laptop but when I get home I plan to do my finish editing. I have never used the shadow highlights tool before but it looks like what I needed to get what I was looking for in that shot. Thanks for the tip.
