    Bird ID?

    Don't know much about birds......anyone know what this is?

    I think that's a house sparrow. Is it from Iraq?

    looks like a female house sparrow to me.

    Thanks, and yes it is in Iraq. THese things are everywhere! I have only seen a couple different types of birds...those, some pigeons and a white cheeked bul bul??

    Kevin, get an image of a bulbul ;)

    BTW.. watch the sky for raptors and water areas(river, lakes, ponds) will have alot more bird life than you seem to be finding.

    BTW, we are limited to where we can go....and even more limited when it comes to photographs....so that is why I can't find much in the way of bird life.
