    Bear in my Backyard

Me and a few of my photos made it on the local news Friday.
Thought you might enjoy this little Bear Story.

Wow, you're a star now! This could really launch your pro-photog career. I will have to look you up next time I'm in CO to get your autograph so that someday I can say, "I knew Bob when..." Seriously though, this looked like a pretty cool ordeal where everything turned out good. Thanks for sharing this.

HaHa, Not me. I'm retired. The only thing I autograph these days is my pension checks.
I must say it is so different trying to take good shots when the action is constantly moving all around you.
The police limit your access and distance. The sun is right in your face.
Nothing photography wise was in my favor.

These snapshots were taken with my Canon S95 compact pointed directly into the sun with fill flash on.
I didn't pull the D300s out until after the bear was drugged.
