Is that a barn swallow in flight?

Overcast day. I was expecting rain and so just brought a 70-300 with me. Hand-held. Quite heavily cropped :blush2:

Not sure if this one I MF'ed or not cuz' I was experimenting with both MF and AF today. 70-300 VR is not really MF friendly anyhow. 300mm ,F8, ISO 800, 1/800 sec. Manual exposure mode by metering off my palm then add one stop.

    Nobody knows what that is?

I thought it was a barn swallow. But after checking with photos I could find, I'm not sure now.

More digging later, I believe it's a cliff swallow.

Definately a cliff swallow and a great job at capturing it too.
