Bald Eagle's back to the nest

Well....the Male Eagle has returned to the nest once again. Usually gets here on Sept 1 or so. Female should be here with in a week or 2. Friend called me today with the news. Photo's taken at high noon but I wanted to get the first arrival pic's! This is their 8th nesting year.
FYI...male Eagles is missing a talon on his left foot. Makes the i.d easy.

Great captures, Eric. I really like the natural framing in #1.

actually the don't. Eagles come back here around first of september, rebuild nest until November 1st, lay eggs and we have Eaglets at the end of December. Juvies hang around until about the end of May, Adults leave in June and then Return in September to start the process all over again.
