    I read the first few paragraphs until I came to the part about no habitat protection. No more need to read for me, because that's the reason to delist it!

    Bald eagles are nesting on many high dollar coastal properties right now along with even more valuable commercial interest properties. Delisting the bald eagle allows those properties to be developed, drilled , mined and destroyed in whatever manner the property own decides.

    What a disgraceful government we elected in the last few years, because eagles may be abundant in some areas, but are far below estimated #'s in most areas. Further more, developing nesting grounds will further the decline in bald eagles.

    I, for one, am disturbed by this. There is so much development here that has been forced to avoid the nesting sites, that now I'm afraid our Eagle population will take a big hit.
