Went by the Eagles nest for a quick visit this afternoon. Mama was sitting in the nest with her chicks (they are about 7 days old). It will be several more more weeks before we will be able to see them.

You have such gorgeous light down there! I envy you that. Beautiful shots of mama Eagle. Cool that you caught her calling in flight. And iInteresting to know they nest so early down there. Do you post process to bring out detail in the shadowed areas? I know here on a sunny day I would either have black shadows or blown highlights.
