    Two swans a swimming

    Was taking a drive today with a friend and spotted these in a fenced in pond out in a field so I stood beside the road and shot over the fence, Jeff

    Taken with a Nikon D90 with Nikon 18-200VR lens

    I love the feather detail on the wings in the last one. I think they're Mute Swans.

    Agree! The feathers in the second shot look like silk or satin. Very pretty.

    I was very happy with the second shot for the same reasons mentioned about the detail in the feathers. I'm glad I had a camera in the care when I spotted them. Thanks for taking a look and for leaving your nice comments, they are very much appreciated, Jeff
