    Baby bird ID

    I took these pictures in the beginning of August. He was hopping around the edge of my front yard. Wasn't sure what it was at first, but I assume its a cowbird as the only other bird in the vicinity was a song sparrow in a nearby tree chirping and following this little guy around. He was slightly bigger than the sparrow.

    The next click should have been it's body under your foot That is indeed a very young cowbird that outgrew the nest too soon. Cowbirds are the antichrist in my opinion, but they are cool looking in the right lighting.
