    Baby bird

This little guy fell out of the nest and aside from my best efforts did not survive.

I'm posting it because I dont know what kind of bird it is so I hoped someone could tell me.
It resembles a Robin and there are tons around here, but I also looked up Oriole babies and it sorta resembles that also.., and I know there were or are some nesting somewhere in my neighborhood.

    ~And this is a good day~

    Re: Baby bird

Looks like a robin to me. I had a similar thing happen last year. A small robin was in my yard, and unable to fly. I moved it to the side of the house so the dogs wouldn't find it. Nobody is ever on that side of the house so I figured it was safe. I found out later that one of my nephews was over there, and tripped, and fell on it. Turns out it would have been safer with the dogs!
