    american toads and flowers

Went to a local park today to take a study break and take some pics. it was amazing how many american toads there were out breeding at 2-3 pm in the afternoon! i saw 2 snakes sitting trying to nab one to! and then a few flowers.

i love this first pic.... you can see the ripples in the water from the sound vibrations

I like #2 for the natural spot light effect. And the bug in #3 is so tiny - good job getting detail out of such a small subject, let alone even finding it.

    What's a Loupe for anyway?

Thanks guys, i wasn't even paying attention to the lighting when i was taking these shots... i was zoomed in all the way with my 135mm (on d200) and i was getting some blurr, so the top one i actually used the flash. i may head back down ther tomorrow and see if anything is still going on.
