This was shot with my Canon G9 on program mode. 1/160 sec @ f/4, ISO 80 with -2/3 EV. The RAW image was double processed to bring out more detail in the foreground and to keep the color in the sky. The moon was taken from a separate photo also taken with the G9 but zoomed in all the way and pieced together in post.

The moon being from another shot sure helps me understand how you could get this at 1/160, f/4, and an iso of 80.
I was staring my eyeballs out at it after looking at the exif.
I like what you did...makes a good image.
Frog, the moon still held detail in the original image, but it was a little bit too small to hold much interest. The exif data in a lot of my images can be misleading. I will often double or tripple process my RAW files to increase the range of light in my images like I did here. The foreground in this image was not as light in the original shot so I had to open it up to get what I wanted.
