    Alberta landscapes

    What do you think of these? I've never really been interested in landscape shots, but thought I'd give it a go. The 3rd pic is for my photo class -- part of the project is closeup shots.

    I like the light changes in the first two Asdf. The last one has a sort of surreal feel to it that is neat. Looks like southern Alberta, reminds me of the Turner Valley area.

    Tough lighting conditions in all but you did good. I like #1 and #3.

    IMO, #3 could have been even better had you stopped down more to make the background just a bit more recognizeable. With closeups, I generally like to place the main subjects within their environment (as long as it is not distracting to do so). If the mountains had more definition here, I think it would be drop-dead gorgeous.
