    AgingEyes... here's the flight shots

You asked about flight shots from my "Swallow Condo" post. Here's a few plus one more of the nest in the pipe. I still basically suck at in flight shots of smaller birdies.

At least a good start, I'd say.

Mind you, not many people are good at small birds in flight shots. Many don't even bother doing it because they are difficult and could be frustrating. Go search the net, visit photo forums, and see how many small birds in flight - especially free flight - shots people do.

I'm no good either, but I'll keep doing it and hopefully will get better one day.

    Thank you.
You're right... you don't see many, but I'm stubborn and if I want to do something that most people can't do, I won't give up until I can. This couple that have the nest are really good practice. They fly around together all the time near the nest. It IS frustrating at times, but still fun. Sometimes they would fly around me so close, it was impossible to shoot...hehee. They seem like curious birds.

Swallows make for great practice for shooting birds in flight, basically if you can get good captures of swallows in flight then you can shoot any flying bird.
    Well done SARtech.
