    After the fire

The hills near my house had a wild fire that basically burn all the dry grass and likely killed a number of trees , also heard that a couple of houses actually burned down, but I personally have not seen them.

It is so odd walking on the forest that is black, the view also changed as now I can see into the distance while before I had the view obstructed by the leafs

The weather has not changed , it continues to be hot and dry, and made the conditions prime for the fire, I can't wait or the rain season to start, anytime now

Anyhow, the forest is starting to have some color again ..

Nice stuff here Armando. I especially like that last one for it's beautiful flow of lines.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

    Re: After the fire

As ugly as the aftermath of a wildfire gets, I am always in awe watching nature regenerated from the ashes like the first two shots depict. Nice set of images, Armando.

Very nice, Armando. I too like the last one.

Did you happen to shoot some close-ups with a wide angle or ultra wide angle lens? I'd love to see those versions.

    Re: After the fire

    Thanks

    a few more

Sunset light, all leafs are usually green at this time , fire made them a toasty brown / yellow

Notice the cloud on the top right corner? Weather forecast had been saying for a couple of weeks it is going to rain , I saw some distant clouds but went up the hill anyway.
Well... all of the sudden it got really windy, and it just poured, I got soaked on the walk back, about 2kms of steep terrain, no way to hurry, plus after the heat, I did enjoy it
The camera bag worked great nothing got wet

Went again this morning to capture what I couldn't last night

Saved them bigger , 1000 pixels instead of 800, hope you don't mind

    Thanks for looking
