    30 Minutes

Exactly the amount of time I had to shoot all day yesterday between errands and "to dos". Even then, I had to "sneak" the camera out of the house - if you know what I mean

Too much pressure! All I could get where these two. Goes to show that distractions like time constraints can skew the perception.

The Japanese beetles doing the wild thing were with all three extension tubes on the 300mm at the minimum focus distance. I don't remember which tube(s) I used with the bee.

    Lol at the wild thing...

I've had days when I had to sneak the camera out...hehe. Great shots for such little time though!

    Re: 30 Minutes

Thanks, Emily. I always take my camera bag along with my briefcase to work so usually I don't get the "eye" from the wife and kids. But tough when I have to work weekends AND still have the camera with me

My son asked me a few weeks ago why it is that I smell like "grass" all the time

Cracked that problem - My work bag is a crumpler half photog and half computer so they never know if the cameras going or not - well they don't know which one

Nice shot of that multicoloured beetle.

    Re: 30 Minutes

    Thanks, guys

Roger - my camera bag is the shape, color, and size of a computer shoulder bag. So most times I think I'm fooling them as I run out the door

Jaedon - *sigh* they grow up so fast don't they He just turned 13 and is already 5' 7" but wears shoes larger than mine. Seems like just yesterday that he was 5' 6".
